“Highly recommend David. He is very professional, we worked with him twice within one month for 2 family based events. His photos are very personal and he has great eye for detail. We love the candid shots of the children as he managed to capture all the expressions of the toddlers.
We are delighted with our photos, thank you!” -

“I really recommend Voidfocal to capture your special moments. I came all the way from Indonesia to Singapore and I had very limited time to do the photoshoot. But David did his job professionally and efficiently so we could take a lot of photos in just 2 hours at multiple spots around Gardens by the Bay. David is very helpful and considerate to fulfill our expectations. The results are amazing and we are very happy with it. The packages are reasonably priced with several options to choose from. Overall, well done! :)”

“Engaging with David has been an absolute game-changer for us. From the very beginning, his positive vibe was infectious and inspiring. Not only does he deeply understand our project, but he injects his own unique spark and perspective, taking our idea to new heights. His professionalism is top-notch, and he approaches tasks with a remarkable blend of speed and precision that's truly impressive. David's ability to cut to the chase and get things done is refreshing, and it's clear he grasps concepts with lightning speed. We're thrilled to have David on board, and his contributions are undoubtedly propelling us towards success.”

“We've been engaging David as our principal photographer for several shoots and his service is impeccable. He specialises in portraits and family shoots under natural lighting. Before the start of each shoot, he takes the initiative to be present for site recce to get the best photoshoot positions and plans out the flow of the shoot. He provides excellent post-service support and relevant photo edits too.
Most importantly - his photos speak for themselves :) Highly recommend!”

“Worked side by side with him for event shoots. Extremely talented photographer, every picture taken has a creative thought process and never fails to impress. Goes out of his comfort zone to explore new boundaries to further elevate client’s needs and expectations. 10/10, will work with again!”

“It was a great experience working with David from Voidfocal. He was very easy-going to work with and made some great suggestions in terms of the location. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and David delivered his work in timely manner and even went above and beyond than what was expected. I would definitely work with him again in future.”
The Artisan’s Touch
Photography is a craft best described as capturing truth with light. Truth in both the objective sense: documenting a moment in one’s life, as well as truth in the subjective sense: distilling and preserving the magic and emotion of the moment. I approach wedding photography with a great deal of reverence and intentionality and achieve all the effects you see by hand, using in-camera techniques or physical tools; no adding of effects in Photoshop.
That to me, is what defines The Artisan’s Touch. An intentional, carefully crafted product, bespoke to each client I work with. Photography that is brave, bold, and does not shy away from unconventional ideas. Hopefully that’s something that resonates with you as well :)

Let’s create art together:
It’s been one hell of a year. I’ve had the privilege of documenting a number of weddings from many different walks of life, all while growing and maturing as a photographer and as a creative. It’s been humbling to be able to learn from so many teachers, to draw knowledge from various disciplines, styles and workflows, and to incorporate them into my own work. I’ve made strides in developing my own voice and vision, all in the service of the couples I collaborate with. Without further ado, here are some of my favourite images I’ve made this year, enjoy :)
Pre-wedding shoots are my favourite to photograph, and being able to shoot in downtown Singapore is always a treat.
A wedding by the river is not something you get to see every day, especially in Singapore. Kiev and Wendy had recently engaged me for one such wedding at “The Four Points”.
